Soccer Betting Question

Don't do much betting in soccer but I am looking to put a play in on the Real Madrid/AC Milan game today. My book has the lines as follows:

AC Milan - Handicap is PK +105, and the ML as +180

Real Madrid - Handicap is PK -125, and the ML as +150

I like real Madrid to win, so I am thinking of taking the ML play but what am I protecting buy paying the juice, a tie? There is also a bet for the draw and I thought a draw is a loss - is that not true if I play the handicap line of a PK? Please advise as I am trying to learn, thanks and good luck!

If you want to bet on real madrid bet with the Asian Handicapp which is at PK, if it draws you get your money back. If they win you get your money.... simple as that..

Lazyboi is correct, but I'll add one thing to what Hattrick asked. You are correct that you can also bet the draw. But in that case, you are only betting the draw. If either team wins, you lose.

BET: Real Madrid PK -125. You win if RM wins, push if it's a tie and lose of Milan wins.

Real Madrid ML +150 (also the same as -1/2). You win only if Real Madrid wins. You lose on a tie or a Milan win.

DRAW (probably around +230): Draw wins. If either team wins, you lose.

Often you will see the ML and -1/2 to have slightly different values. They are the same bet. Take the best line.
